Server Racks

Running a state of the art data warehouse facility is no easy task, and when new servers need to be installed along with custom and rare equipment that does not fit the standard server rack, things get messy. Devices such as custom monitors and input devices, audio and lab equipment are often difficult if not impossible to accommodate on standard server rails. FrameXpert lets you design a server rails rack according to your specifications in under an hour. What's more, using T-slotted aluminum extrusions means your rack will be lightweight, rugged, and easy to assemble and modify.

When standard server racks are unable to accommodate your standard rack-mounted equipment along with other devices that aren't built for 19-inch racks, the workspace quickly gets cluttered and hard to navigate. This is when custom server racks are the ideal solution, as they allow you to fit virtually any device onto an otherwise standard rack. Custom server racks from FrameXpert can also be fitted with different types of server rails, allowing you to further optimize and customize your space. Since the server rack will be built using industrial-strength T-slotted aluminum frames from FrameXpert, this means that your server rack will always be lightweight, extremely durable, and completely expandable.

Building a server rack with FrameXpert Frame Designer is easy:

  • First, download FrameDesigner. It's free.
  • Start by drawing a rectangular base with the desired width and length dimensions of your rack.
  • Draw the frame vertically to the desired height.
  • Add server rails and other fixtures as needed.

A custom server rack takes roughly 10 minutes to design using FrameDesigner. The video at the end of this page outlines the simple steps shown above.
